Catch The VIBE 2024

Catch the VIBE 2024

We are one stressed-out society! Could be because you expected to wear so many hats. Spouse. Parent. Daughter. Sibling. Friend.  Employee … or maybe employer. And of course, Super-hero!

For 30 years that’s exactly how I chose to live my life.  Then, all of a sudden, the world I had built was crumbling.  And so was I.  My marriage was failing, my parents were in financial distress and I needed to find a new place to live and I had to keep my busy travel schedule going at work.

That’s when I discovered that the super-woman cape and the bracelets didn’t save me from the pain and tragedy life tossed at me.  And they didn’t save anyone else, either.

I was so sad and angry.   Mental exhaustion had caused some of my drama dragons to rage.  I didn’t like the dragons taking control so this was the moment I knew that things needed to change. This dragon woman I turned into was not something I wanted to be.   I wanted to be my happy successful self again.

In those moments, I realized that it was so important to take care of myself because no one else would.   If you’re anything like me, you are one of those people who always want to please someone else. When you were young, you may have been rewarded for being that loving and nurturing person who was willing to take care of everyone.

When the foundation that I had built started crumbling, I realized that I had been living my life for everyone else and I didn’t know who I was anymore.  I did the best I could at the time and knew I needed to take care of myself.  I just didn’t know how.

Finally, I got this wild idea to move away from home!   I was working at a job that could have taken me anywhere in the country.  I went to my boss and let him know that I would like to be transferred almost anywhere south and Nashville was my #1 choice.  4 weeks after that discussion, I was in TN.

I spent an entire year on my couch (when I was not working) not doing much of anything except homework as I continued my education.  I really didn’t want any more friends to complicate things.  My goal was to figure out who I was and what I liked.

This is when I started to understand it didn’t have to be so difficult!    If I could learn to align with MY truth…with my success life could flow more easily instead of tripping over rocks all the time.

Over the next few weeks, I’ll share with you how to catch the vibe and align with your success so that you can flow with life a little better than you did even today.

We will focus on 4 key aspects to consider when moving through everyday life.  Vibration, Integrity, Belief, and Empowerment.  In our next series, we will be talking about vibration…See you there!
